✨ Always Have Something Lovely on the Horizon

After ending my time in Athens with a truly lovely dinner at Hytra last night, I now find myself sitting in the Aegean Airlines lounge, waiting for my Aegean Airlines flight to depart—enjoying all the lovely Grecian treats in front of me.
And somewhere between the last sip of coffee and the quiet hum of travelers coming and going…
I’ve begun planning my next visit to this beautiful country.
There’s something I’ve come to believe deeply—
having a trip on the calendar is not indulgent… it’s essential.
Not because we need to escape our lives,
but because it gives our everyday moments something to lean into.
A quiet kind of excitement. A reminder that life is still unfolding in beautiful ways.
Right now, my heart feels full in the sweetest way.
I have Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast waiting for me in September–October 2026—already tucked into my calendar like a promise I’ve made to myself. And perhaps that’s what it really is… a promise to keep living, exploring, and saying yes to joy.
And now… I’ve begun dreaming again.
Late May into early June 2027, I’m planning Greece—
✨ one night in Athens
🌿 four nights in Paros
🤍 three nights in Milos
🌊 five nights in Crete
Just saying those names feels like a little escape.
I can already picture mornings with coffee by the water, long walks through whitewashed villages, and dinners that stretch into the night without anyone rushing to leave.
And then—because why not keep dreaming—Spain is quietly calling my name for September 2027.
There’s something powerful about allowing yourself to look forward like this.
To plan.
To imagine.
To believe there are still so many beautiful moments ahead.
In the meantime, I’ve decided I’m going to start learning a little Greek.
Not because I need to master it… but because it feels respectful, and maybe even a little romantic, to speak even a few words in the language of a place that has already captured my heart.
And I have to say—
the language is beautiful.
But also… the people?
Goodness.
I never thought I’d say this quite like this, but the Greek men… they are something else.
The kind of handsome that makes you pause for just a second longer than you meant to.
The kind that feels effortless and quietly confident.
The kind that might just take your breath away if you’re not careful.
And maybe that’s part of the magic too…allowing yourself to notice beauty, wherever it shows up.
Because life isn’t just about getting through the days.
It’s about having something ahead that makes you smile when no one is looking.
Something that reminds you that you are still very much alive, still curious, still open to whatever comes next.
So if you’re thinking about it…
book the trip.
dream the dream.
say yes to the future version of yourself who will be so grateful you did.
There is something lovely waiting for you.
I truly believe that.
And if I happen to learn a little Greek…
well, I suppose that could come in handy in more ways than one. 😉
Living fully, loving deeply, and leaving just a little sparkle everywhere I go…
Honey 💛
