✨The architecture, the charm, the food, the tea, the art—and oh, the magic of wandering solo with my heart wide open. I didn’t expect to fall so hard for this city, but here I am… twinkling like the lights on the London Eye. This trip is reminding me just how beautiful life can be—and how ready I am to share it with someone who matches my wonder.

Come along—this is just the beginning. 💫💋🧳

Thank You, London—You Had Me at Hello

Oh, London… you sly, magnificent thing. I wasn’t prepared to fall head over heels on day one—but here I am, positively smitten.

ree

From the moment I stepped off the train and into the heart of Charing Cross, this city has surprised and delighted me at every turn. It’s fast and full of life, yet somehow still manages to feel warm, elegant, and… well, lovely. There’s an energy here that’s electric but also deeply refined—like a symphony that knows exactly when to crescendo and when to pause for breath.

ree

Today has been nothing short of glorious.

ree

I wandered wide-eyed through architectural wonderlands, sipped the creamiest flat white at Notes, strolled Somerset House in sheer awe, and fell under the spell of Fortnum & Mason (yes, I’m already planning a return visit for high tea). I visited the National Gallery, danced with the fountains in Trafalgar Square, meandered through Covent Garden, and stood still—truly still—at the gates of Buckingham Palace. What a moment. What a presence.

ree

And then… Dishoom.

ree

Oh my stars. Dinner at Dishoom was a dream. The flavors, the ambiance, the kindness of the staff—it was one of those meals that makes you close your eyes between bites just to linger a little longer in the joy of it. I could barely make a dent in all the deliciousness, but every bite was exquisite.

ree

I even squeezed in a proper London nap (because what’s a grand adventure without a little rest between chapters?) and found myself so grateful for my home base at The Clermont Charing Cross. Honestly, it’s perfection. Elegant, clean, and wonderfully comfortable. The best part? It’s right at the train station, which I didn’t realize until I arrived. As far as convenience goes, it doesn’t get better.

ree

Before heading in for the night, I made a quick visit to the London Eye—just a preview of what’s to come. Tomorrow, I’m starting my day with breakfast at The Wolseley (because yes, I do intend to dine like a queen), and from there? Who knows. The city is wide open, and so is my heart.

ree

Which brings me to this little whisper that’s been growing louder today:

This trip, while joyful in every way, has reminded me of something tender. I am happy—truly happy—and I’ve built a life I love. But I also know, in my bones, that moments like these are even more magical when shared. I want that. A love to explore the world with. To laugh with over dinner. To hold hands with as we marvel at art, beauty, and life’s unfolding mysteries. To wrap myself up with at night and say, “Wasn’t today amazing?”

ree

I’ve let go of what wasn’t meant for me. And now, I’m ready to open the next chapter with hope and excitement for the love that is.

ree

So, here’s to new beginnings, to spontaneous sips and museum steps, and to trusting that the right heart will find mine—somewhere between a passport stamp and a sparkly city skyline.

ree

🍯 Honey Note:

Whether you’re walking alone or hand in hand with someone special, let your heart lead. It knows the way.

ree

With love and adventure,

Honey

PS: If you ever doubt the magic of reinvention or the power of a solo adventure—book the trip, order dessert, and remember: your story is just getting good.
