From Monster to Magic: Swapping Chills for Good Vibes

Sometimes you just need a shift —from true-crime chills to golden-hour feels. A reminder that joy, like good music, never goes out of style.

I went from watching Monster: The Story of Ed Gein (dark, heavy, and haunting) to listening to Lionel Richie on The Joe Rogan Experience — and talk about a vibe change! Suddenly, my mood lifted. Lionel is pure sunshine.

Here’s a man who started in 1968, has seen every chapter of the music world, and still radiates excitement for life. He’s cool, grounded, effortlessly funny, and just so alive. Listening to him, you can almost hear that soft reminder that “it’s easy, easy like a Sunday morning.” His joy feels timeless.

And then — because apparently I’m on a roll with inspiring souls — I started the Victoria Beckham documentary on Netflix. She’s all elegance and grit: beautiful, disciplined, and refreshingly honest. I love how she owns her contradictions — shy yet ambitious, reserved yet magnetic.

Victoria could’ve stayed “David Beckham’s wife” after the Spice Girls, but that’s not her rhythm. She built her own purpose — and what I adore most is how David celebrates that. He’s not intimidated by her drive; he’s inspired by it. That’s real partnership — two people cheering for each other to shine.

Between Lionel’s light and Victoria’s laser focus, I was reminded that staying relevant — and truly happy — means never stopping your own reinvention. As Lionel would say in spirit, “life’s for dancing on the ceiling,” not standing still.

So yes, this is my new mantra:

✨ From Monster to Magic — feed your soul with stories that lift you higher. ✨

Honey Note:

Let your soundtrack be made of joy. Find what makes you sway, hum, or smile mid-morning — that’s your cue you’re in the right place.

💛 Still dancing, still dreaming, still evolving,

Honey
