How Do I Find the Time to Write?

People often ask me how I find the time to write. My answer is simple: how do I not? Writing is like air to me—I need it to feel alive.

The truth is, we make time for what we value. It’s so easy to lose hours scrolling social media or diving into meaningless distractions. But if you put down your phone and pick up something that sparks your curiosity, life starts to shift. Read things that interest you. Read things you don’t yet understand. Read anything that teaches you something new. Let yourself get curious.

Then, when a thought stirs or a feeling rises, start writing. It doesn’t have to be polished. Just begin. You’ll be amazed at where your mind takes you—down unexpected roads, into new questions, through twists that connect ideas you thought were unrelated. That’s the beauty of it: life always weaves together in surprising ways, and writing lets you notice the threads.

And when you train yourself to see those threads, you also learn empathy. You learn to look for connections instead of divisions. You become more open-minded, less judgmental, and more focused on living boldly and beautifully. Suddenly, the noise of what other people think fades, and your gaze shifts to the blessings and beauty already around you.

So how do I find the time to write? I don’t carve it out of obligation. I breathe it in. Writing is my way of making sense of a world that’s always changing and yet, at its heart, is simple. A world where—since the beginning of time—we’ve all been chasing the same things: love, belonging, meaning, and purpose.

That is why I write. And that is why I’ll never stop.

Honey Note 🍯

Writing is a love affair with your own soul. You don’t need hours or perfect conditions—you just need a spark. Let a single sentence be your beginning. The rest will follow, and in time, you’ll discover that your words are not only your story, but your gift to the world.

With love as my compass, and curiosity as my pen —
