Hey y’all — Honey here. 🌿
Let’s talk about something I think a lot of us need to hear out loud:
The time and attention you desire?
You deserve it.
Not just from others—but from yourself first.
You should never feel guilty for wanting to be loved well. For desiring a connection that sees you, hears you, holds space for you. That’s not asking for too much. That’s asking for what’s right.
But here’s the truth I’ve come to learn:
You have to pour into yourself first.
Fill your own cup—so full it spills over. Because only then can you offer that overflow to someone else in a way that’s healthy, joyful, and whole.
When you love yourself deeply, you no longer chase.
You no longer search for love to complete you—because you already feel complete.
And that’s when something beautiful happens.
Love finds you.
Not the kind of love that’s needy or uncertain. Not the kind that demands you shrink to fit. But the kind that meets you in the living. In your joy. In your radiance. In your fully expressed life.
So stop looking.
Stop waiting.
Stop wondering if it will ever come.
And instead—start living.
Live loudly.
Live richly.
Live beautifully in your own rhythm.
Wake up excited about your day—not because of who might call or text or finally “get it right,” but because you are showing up for yourself.
Be patient, yes—but don’t let patience become a pause.
You’ve got a whole life to live. Make that your focus.
Take care of your body. Feed your soul. Chase your curiosity. Dance in the kitchen. Book the trip. Learn something new just because it makes your eyes light up.
That’s not selfish. That’s wise.
You’re not here to live anyone else’s life. So stop measuring yourself by someone else’s expectations.
You don’t owe the world an explanation for your joy.
And the beautiful thing is—when you live like that, when you truly love yourself enough to live for yourself—that’s when the right people take notice. That’s what makes you magnetic.
Because a woman who knows her worth?
She’s a light.
And love always finds the light.
So go shine, honey. The right hearts will see you.
💛
With love, always—
Honey
P.S. The next time you start to wonder if you’re asking too much, remember: you’re not. You’re simply refusing to settle for less than what you were born to give and receive.
