🍯 Six-Seven and the Circle of Slang

Every generation has its secret code — those funny little words and phrases that make the grown-ups shake their heads and grin.

Today, the youth are hollering “six-seven!” in hallways, captions, and TikToks, and honestly, no one over twenty-five seems to know what it means. But that’s kind of the point.
From what I gather, “six-seven” doesn’t mean much of anything at all — it’s just fun. It’s the Gen Alpha version of a wink and a giggle, a sound bite of inside-joke chaos. And I kind of love that.
Because once upon a time, we had our own versions, didn’t we?
We said things like “groovy,” “radical,” and “bogus.” We went “steady” (and it meant a real relationship, not just liking each other’s posts). We told people to “chill out,” and then later, we were all “lit” and “vibing.”
Somewhere between “as if!” and “you go, girl!” — the slang shifted, the music changed, the jeans got wider or tighter, and suddenly it was their turn to sound ridiculous.
And isn’t that a beautiful, timeless thing?
✨ The Language of Youth
Slang has always been the soundtrack of youth — a way of saying we belong here, we’re alive right now, we understand each other in a way you might not.
So when you hear someone yell “six-seven!” just remember: it’s their version of “far out” or “totally tubular.”
And one day, they’ll roll their eyes lovingly at whatever their kids are saying — maybe something like “quantum drip” or “vibe-syncing” (I’m just guessing).
But that’s the rhythm of life. The words change, the laughter doesn’t.
💛 Honey Note
Let the kids be silly. Let them have their inside jokes and their nonsense numbers.
We had ours too, and somewhere deep down, that language still lives in us — in every “peace out,” every “whatever,” and every fond memory of thinking we invented cool.
So here’s to six-seven — whatever it means.
Because sometimes, nonsense is exactly what makes life make sense.
Six-seven, groovy, lit, or whatevs — it’s all just code for “we’re alive right now.”
Keepin’ it groovy, laughin’ at the lingo, and lovin’ every “six-seven” of it.

PS: It’s all about the riz now, y’all. And maybe, just maybe, that’s groovy, man. 😉
