Recently, scientists discovered evidence of an ancient land bridge beneath the Aegean Sea, a pathway early humans once used to migrate from Anatolia (modern-day Türkiye) into Europe. What is now water was once earth—a wide, walkable corridor alive with footsteps, stories, and survival.

It’s humbling, isn’t it? To realize the ground we stand on hasn’t always been there—and that sometimes, what we assume has vanished, still exists, just under the surface.
