When They Still Try to Poke You

It’s funny when you couldn’t care less where someone moved—because really, all that matters is they moved away from you.

It’s funnier still when you couldn’t care less if they’re spending time with someone else, because the truth is, they aren’t spending their life with you—and that’s what actually matters.

And yet, even when you’ve found your peace and stopped asking, they somehow find a way to poke you. Right when you’re enjoying a day that should belong only to you, they reach out—because they’re so self-absorbed, so restless, so empty—that they need to make sure you still notice them.

It gives off pure loser vibes. And honestly? It’s just one more reminder that moving on was the smartest thing you ever did.

💛 Honey Note:

When people try to disturb your peace, remember—it’s not about you. It’s about their inability to sit quietly with themselves. Stay grounded in your joy and your self-worth. You’re not responsible for their emptiness. Keep shining so brightly that their shadows can’t find you.

With light from lessons learned and hope for what’s ahead,

Honey Reflection: If You Don’t Feel a Burning Need to Say I Love You, Don’t Reach Out at All

There’s a certain kind of cruelty in hearing from someone who once had your heart, not because they miss you, not because they love you — but because they can’t stand not to know if you still care.

If you don’t feel a burning need to say “I love you,” or to speak kindness into someone’s life, then it’s better to stay silent. Because a message that arrives only to stir old wounds isn’t connection — it’s intrusion.
