(A low-carb iced tea I keep on repeat)
Sweet tea was never optional when I was growing up.
It was just⦠there. Always in the fridge, always poured over ice, always chosen over water without a second thought. In the South, sweet tea wasnāt a beverageāit was a given.
Somewhere along the way, adulthood nudged me toward water and hot tea instead. And honestly, I still love both. But lately, Iāve been playing againācreating what I like to think of as grown-up iced teas. The kind you keep chilled in a pretty pitcher, pour into a special glass, and actually savor.
This one has become a favorite.
Itās gently sweet, layered with flavor, decaffeinated (because sleep matters), and low enough in carbs that I can enjoy it without second-guessing myself. And when something tastes this good? I find myself drinking more, staying better hydrated, and enjoying every sip along the way.
Presentation helps too.
A new glass pitcher, the cutest heavy bee lowball glasses, lots of iceāand suddenly, tea feels like a moment instead of a habit.

Why I Love This Tea
Just sweet enough to feel indulgent
Only ~4 grams of carbs per 8-oz glass
Decaffeinated, so I can enjoy it anytime
Refreshing, flavorful, and actually satisfying
Helps me drink more fluids because itās genuinely delicious
I make lots of teas, but this one keeps finding its way back into the fridge. It feels nostalgic and new at the same timeālike honoring the sweet tea I grew up with, while choosing something that fits how I live now.
And perhaps thatās the best part.
Knowing exactly whatās in it.
Keeping the carbs where I want them.
Still getting that unmistakable ahhh with the first sip.
Sweet tea can still be a joyāit just gets to be a little more intentional now. šš«
Honeyās Note šÆ
Somewhere between the ice clinking in the glass and that first blueberry-vanilla sip, Iām reminded that little pleasures matter. Choosing ingredients with care, keeping things simple, and savoring whatās right in front of usāperhaps thatās one of the gentlest ways we take care of ourselves. And if a pretty glass and a good pour make you smile? That counts too.
Drink well, stay curious, and always save room for joy.
With love,
Honey š
